St. Ann`s Girls Secondary School

In the Year 1995,the Congregation started its mission in East Africa by opening its first community, a primary school and 'Family aid ' program in Rujewa-Mbeya Tanzania. It extended the services further in Tanzania in the year 2002 by opening its second mission center in Dar es salaam with primary school and help in-need programs.

The congregation (catechist sisters of st.Ann) has stepped up its educational services by opening St.Ann’s Secondary School in 2009. The medium of instruction for all these schools is English. St.Ann’s primary and Secondary School are located at Mbezi Luiz, Makabe Road, Dar es salaam.
It is a Catholic Institution, established by the Congregation of Catechist sisters of St.Ann. The school is named after its heavenly patroness, Saint Ann, and it was established in the year 2009. The Motto is “LOVE, PEACE& JOY.

The school has a scenic and serene campus, class rooms, well equipped laboratories, library, computer lab, and auditorium.

The School has a team of committed dynamic and efficient qualified teachers who lay strong foundation for a strong nation. Besides academic excellence, the school gives importance for discipline and character and caters to the all round development of the students.

The school imparts quality education, promoting spiritual and social values and help in the integrated formation of the students. Seminars and prayer services are conducted occasionally to promote religious tolerance and universal brotherhood, cultural and literary, sports and games competitions are conducted regularly to develop talents and skills, strength and social values among the students.
