    Responsibities
     Assessed Corporate, Financial Institutions, Public Sector,
    Commercial, Specialised/Project Finance within the limits of
    the MD/CEO or Executive Credit Committee or Board Credit
    & Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors as
    spelt out in the Credit Empowerment /Approval Framework
     Appraise all loan proposals both new and renewals by
    conducts quality assessment of customers and assigning risk
    grades.
     Analysing all product programs to ensure that all risks are
    identified, properly mitigated and that these programs are in
    line with the bank’s policies endorses where applicable and
    delivers documents to drawer as per covering letter
    requirement.
     Appraise of non-funded (off balance sheet) credit
    applications the like of Advance payments Guarantee(APG),
    Bank Guarantee, Performance Guarantee, Letter of
    Credit(LC) and IPC discounting, Invoice discounting.
     Contribute to credit presentations/ submissions in the bank
    by ensuring credit appraisal memo packages are complete
    and accurate.
     Trainings sessions designed to enhance the credit skills and

     Facilitating the automation of all aspects of the credit
    approval process as it relates to commercial and corporate

     Review with SME Business Bankers client feedback, market

    product design and performance to establish if change,
    redesign or re-launch is appropriate.

    Key Responsibilities
    I. Apply the company’s credit and collection policies and
    procedures to designated accounts within assigned division
    sales territories and discuss circumstances beyond
    established policies.
    II. Submit credit approval requests to Management Credit
    Committee
    III. Establish and update information on new and existing
    accounts.
    IV. Carry out an established program for the follow-up and
    collection of accounts receivable including regular account
    status reviews with credit manager to assure that accounts
    receivables are within established guidelines, and following
    accounts closely to determine when action is needed to
    prevent unnecessary risks; work closely with sales personnel on
    the status of accounts.
    V. Prepare customer account status and write-off reports for
    approval and forward to agencies for final resolution as
    approved; prepare month-end adjustments to reconcile
    activity to assigned accounts.
    VI. Initiate contact and maintain harmonious relationships with
    customers and credit information vendors.
    VII. To ensure appraisal of loans lead to high quality of the loan
    portfolio
