Day 1 Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve
We collect you from your hotel and leave the hustle and bustle of Nairobi behind and head to the Great Rift Valley. We arrive at Kenya’s most famous park known locally as ‘the Mara’ in time for a leisurely lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L and D included.

Day 2 Masai Mara National Reserve
There is so much to see and do here that the whole day is dedicated to exploring this wonderful reserve. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L and D included.

Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve-Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast we farewell the Mara and head to stunning Lake Nakuru. We spend the afternoon exploring this soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. Thousands of flamingos wade in the shallows and from a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park-Aberdare National Park
We depart after breakfast and head to Aberdare National Park, a park of chilly rivers, spectacular waterfalls and lush rainforest. Because of its topography, the flora and fauna is unique here. Birdlife is plentiful, including the monkey-eating crowned eagle. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 5 Aberdare National Park-Amboseli National Park
After breakfast we head south, via Nairobi, to well-known Amboseli National Park. We will have time to have a quick look around before settling into the accommodation and enjoying a relaxing dinner. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 6 Amboseli National Park
We have an early start today so that we don’t miss out on the delights of a dawn game drive. We return to our accommodation for a leisurely breakfast followed by some rest time. After lunch we go exploring again. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak which appears to float above the clouds, provides a stunning backdrop. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 7 Amboseli National Park-Lake Manyara National Park
We leave Kenya behind and head into Tanzania. In Arusha town you can stock up on any provisions you need. After lunch we drive to the stunning Lake Manyara National Park, home to tree-climbing lions, as well as giraffes, hippo, zebra, buffalo, and prolific birdlife. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 8 Lake Manyara National Park-Serengeti National Park
We will have a morning game drive before heading off to the Serengeti. This park has an incredible number of animals, especially the migratory wildebeest, whose annual migration has been described as one of the most impressive natural spectacles on earth. We will have time for a little exploration before settling in for the evening. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 9 Serengeti National Park
We’ll be up early today – there’s nothing quite as special as being out in the Serengeti, among the wildlife, at dawn. After our dawn game drive you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast and a free morning. Following lunch we head out into the park again for an afternoon drive. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 10 Serengeti National Park-Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today we travel through Masai Land to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is one the largest intact volcanic calderas in the world and has one of the densest populations of predators in Africa. The area is also rich in archaeology and we will visit Oldupai (Olduvai) Gorge where evidence of some off Africa’s oldest hominid fossils were found. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 11 Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast we descend into the crater with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Camping or lodge accommodation; B, L & D included.

Day 12 Ngorongoro Conservation Area –Arusha
Today we return to Arusha, the hub of the Northern Tanzanian safari ‘circuit’. We arrive by lunchtime after which you have free time to relax. Hotel accommodation to suit your budget; B & L included.

Day 13 Arusha
After breakfast we take a walking tour of this vibrant and bustling town. Your East African Adventure concludes today and we can transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or help you extend your stay. Breakfast included; lunch at own expense; airport transfer optional extra.
