Africa Media Group Ltd. (AMGL) Established in October 1999, AMGL is a joint venture between DTV and CTN which was officially launched in 1994. The leading commercial electronic media company in Tanzania with four TV Channels – “Channel Ten, DTV, CTN and C2C” and two Radio Stations “Magic FM and Classic FM”.
AMGL has state of the Art Studios which consists of professional equipment, mostly used in several Global Channels around the Modern TV Statin. Our Equipment gives us capacity to produce variety of programs like, Talk Shows, Broadcasting Live events etc. Channel Ten Studios have professional Crew consisting of Editors, Cameramen, Producers, Directors who have an experience of not less than 15 Years working on the Field.

Covering Presidential Elections in Tanzania since 1995. Establishment of live coverage for Miss Tanzania, the best commentary for international Football from Studio with professional and proper analysis, establishment and introduction of English Premier League for the first time in Tanzania, production of the best news covering Human Interest Stories. Via Satellite Channel Ten is available all over Africa and beyond and in the cities of the United Republic of Tanzania through cable network, and digital terrestrial transmission.
Channel Ten is also available on DSTV on channel 292. Radio Magic FM has the coverage within the continent and a local coverage in the following cities – Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, Dodoma, Mtwara and Morogoro. Our immediate future plan is to be available in the following cities where we have been allocated construction permits by TCRA (Tanga,Mbeya, Kigoma and Iringa).
