TPM (1998) Ltd - Dar Es Salaam

MeTL Group has been a major cultivator of sisal for many years, and has also been increasingly active in the production of sisal-based products. In 1998, the group acquired a sisal bag-manufacturing factory in Morogoro, TPM. The Group later added another sisal bag manufacturing unit in Moshi, which also operates under the TPM name. Following the government’s initiative to promote the sisal industry, MeTL Group increased production at TPM by moving from one to three shifts daily, employing about 650 people. 10 million bags per annum.
