Job Overview
On behalf of our happy client, we are looking into filling sales staff positions for Dar and Morogoro branches. The ideal candidates must have agro-sales experience ranging from Pesticides, Fungicides, Herbicides, soluble fertigationproducts, spraying equipment and seeds.

Responsibilities
  • Training all Company staff in technical areasregarding our products; and giving them all the necessary advice regarding newand old products.
  • Structured training proposals including logicalproducts to be covered (area based), timescales coinciding with seasons etc.
  • Training register to be maintained to keep track ofall trainings and topics, including staff in attendance.
  • Area sales trips to train and sensitizestockiest on products and develop relationship with customers topromote and obtain sales.
  • Standard stockiest interaction protocol to beestablished covering; technical presentations of our portfolio, promotionalmaterial, continuous advice and follow up.
  • Customer database to be maintained detailing pastvisits and stockiest information/contacts.
  • Product development through field demonstrationsvia coordination with relevant team member.
  • Area identification, farmer group identification,extension officer identification.
  • Best crop identification (per the area)
  • Best farmer identification for longer term demopartnership. This individual should be the mostcompetent/accomplished farmer in the group who will spread the word ofthe company as we will be continuously supporting him.
  • Demo implementation, farmer fun and entertainmentdays/ lucky dips/ training seminars etc.
  • Demo conclusion including produce analysis anddistribution plan.


  • Job Qualifications, Experience and Skills Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field
  • 3+ years’ work experience in agro sales andmarketing
  • Good Spoken and written English skills,fluent in Kiswahili.
  • MS office (email, excel, word, powerpoint) intermediate knowledge for preparing reports and presentations.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to travel on field.
  • Adaptable attitude and teamworking

  • Improved sales of our products to all customers inDar Es Salaam and Morogoro catchment areas
  • A better understanding of technical aspects of our productsby managers and other staff to better handle and advice customers on ourproducts. This will be assessed via live feedback.
  • Innovative ideas for new product identification anddevelopment
  • Individual initiative on planning, budgeting and reporting(submission efficiency)
  • Budgeting accuracy (low variances)
